Maryam Assar

Attorney Maryam Assar is a recent cum laude graduate of the Case Western University School of Law where she distinguished herself as a scholar, leader, and advocate. Maryam served as Managing Editor of the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law, and was President and a founding member of CWRU Muslim Law Student Association. She also worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the Milton and Charlotte Kramer Appellate Litigation Clinic, where she briefed and argued cases in the Eighth District Court of Appeals in Cuyahoga County and The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She received a Case Global Services Award in 2023 for her contributions to the international law program.

A Northeast Ohio native and graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Maryam began working at our firm in the spring of 2022 as a law clerk. After clerking at a patent law firm in Chicago that summer, she chose to return to Ohio to put her talents to work for our clients in all types and aspects of litigation and appeals.
